Deputy has heart attack, dies during traffic stop

(KSL News) A Wasatch County Sheriff's Deputy had a heart attack and died during a traffic stop near Deer Creek Reservoir.
The 48-year-old deputy made the stop just below the damn near Provo Canyon.
The driver who was pulled over called 911 to report the officer was down.
When help arrived the deputy was declared dead.
The Sheriff's Office says the deputy had just joined the Wasatch County Sheriff's Office after retiring from the Utah Highway Patrol.
